Hi friends, it’s me, Alison. I can’t believe this beautiful labor of love is finally here. Eek!
Gorgeous Gatherings showcases so many of the amazing projects we’ve designed, planned, and executed all over the world during the last eight years.
One of my favorite parts of this journey was reliving the memories as we pored over thousands of images to find the best ones. From great adventures with clients to travel shenanigans with my staff, it was a blast. The hidden gem: I included practical tips in every chapter, from “Tenting 101” to “How to Outsmart the Wind.”
Yes, I’m biased, but it really would be the perfect gift for just about anyone—the newly engaged, an avid traveler, someone with a monumental occasion on the horizon, even for sprucing up the coffee table. And if your bestie wants to up-level their entertaining game—add to cart!
My 9-year-old, Vivi, was my inspiration for the book. She inspires me every day to spread kindness, love one another, see the world, and share the knowledge we learn from other cultures. Thank you, Vivi!

Jackson Hole
Gorgeous Gatherings is filled with so many incredible destinations to inspire even the most well-seasoned traveler. Of course, Jackson Hole is included.
There are dozens of reasons to fall in love with Jackson Hole. It’s one of our favorites in ANY season—the beauty of fall, the magic of winter, the hope of spring, and the vibrant colors of summer. Cowboy culture and the Wild West are still alive out here, and we love it.
For an unbeatable Aman luxe property, we love the Amangani, overlooking the Snake River Valley. If you want a ski-in/ski-out vibe, our go-to is Four Seasons. And for a mountain-side boutique property away from the masses, try Caldera House.
When we want a gorgeous meal with a setting to match, head to Corsa. Craving live music and a local brew? The Mangy Moose calls our name.
Finally, for those off-mountain moments, we love perusing Mountain Dandy and Womenfolk for their incredible selection of vintage, handmade, and designer goods. Sweet tooth? Don’t sleep on the huckleberry ice cream from Jackson Drug. And finally, you can’t leave Jackson without a custom hat from Sing Hat Company (well, you can, but why would you?).
