We love planning at-home weddings, and have also counted Mexico as one of our favorite destinations to work in since we started Alison Events. So when Allie and Trevor came to us wanting a weekend-long escape anchored by a wedding at her family’s oceanside estate in Los Ranchos, Punta Mita, we couldn’t wait to start. The exquisite property was the ultimate backdrop for the wedding, which was elegant but still laid back. Following the waterfront ceremony, local conch shell performers guided everyone to an alfresco reception, where guests later enjoyed a firework display as they danced into the night.
