ELLE + ROBBIE | ATHERTON, CALIFORNIA
Elle and Robbie opted to host their wedding at the bride's beautiful family home. The ceremony was set up to follow the natural curved angle of the lawn, and the altar was perfectly positioned under a few redwood trees. Loop Flowers created an asymmetrical floral arch in green, ivory, and yellow tones to tie it all together. Afterward, guests were surprised by the rolling back of a large hedge wall, which revealed a secret garden-inspired cocktail hour and reception space filled with happy hues of yellow, chartreuse, coral, and orange, blooms, an open-air dance floor, and a custom pergola to dine under the stars. The couple wanted their wedding to feel bright, cheery, and romantic—without being over-the-top. Fun fact, our sweet clients grew up together but reconnected later in NYC. We wanted to honor this special time of their lives by recreating the magic of New York City nightlife. After the last dance, guests were greeted with espresso martinis while Taylor Swift’s “Welcome to New York” blasted in the background. New York-style pizza and sliders (with a nod to the Empire State Building) were served, and then everyone jumped in the pool—clothes on!
