La Cocina (pronounced la-co-see-nah, meaning "the kitchen" in Spanish) is a San Francisco Mission District nonprofit providing services to underserved, mostly Latina, women to help them start small food-related businesses and thrive as female entrepreneurs. The nonprofit is an inspiration to our city, and greatly helps local women bring their dreams of business ownership and financial independence to fruition. Alison Events have been designing and planning the annual gala pro bono since 2012, and are proud to support this incredible organization and help celebrate its talented and passionate clients each year.
